A New Americaz
Before we're democrats, Republicans or
Independents, we're all Americans!

a
nearly
two and a half
centuries ago...
everybody came
together, and with
whites, blacks,
Indians, mercenaries and
Generals from
France
and
Prussia
recruited
by Benjamin Franklin,
General
Washington's
small revolutionary army
defeated
the forces of
the mighty British Empire.
While drinking ale
at
a local pub,
(I
knew I'd
like those guys), the
Founding
 Fathers
began to craft the Constitution.
It was
a new concept - instead
of people living
and
dying
for
the
power and
wealth
of a king,
America was to be a
government
Of the
people...
by the people...
for the people...
But here in
the 21st century
new
invaders
captured Washington, the
White
House
and
the Republican and
Democratic
parties.
There was a new Mighty Empire to defeat -
unchecked
and un-regulated
Big Banks, Wall Street,
Special
Interests and those
in
government who made way for them.
'We the people'
lost. We were conquered from within
for the power and wealth of a few. The promise 'Of
the people, by the people and for the people'
was stolen from us. The way I see it we've just come through a Second Civil War, a
war of economics and ideology, against 'we the people', and we were defeated.
This isn't
like Gettysburg, no
fields full of dead soldiers. But our America today is filled with other
kinds of deaths - foreclosures, millions of people with jobs
lost, once healthy families, companies, cities, and states maybe damaged beyond repair.
When we look at our history, we won't find much that exceeds the pain and
suffering we just did to ourselves.
Our nation
is still growing up and this was something we
had to learn again. 'We the People' must never be left vulnerable to
mega companies and banks let loose from regulations. They plundered everyone, north, south, east and
west, people of all parties, ages, races. For the bottom line, the new
invaders brought our country and our world to
its knees.

The
politicians who did this to us
are
gone now.
We have a new administration. But guess what? While our economy is
in serious trouble, the Big Banks we just bailed out tightened the screws,
 stopped
lending and are making their biggest profits in history. Several people in
charge of fiscal policy in the Obama administration came from these Big Banks. Let's hope
this is not a case of 'foxes in charge of the chicken coop' and today's lawmakers will set new rules so never again can so
few have the power to devastate the lives of so many. We must always be our
'brothers' keepers', keepers of 'we the people' for it is only in this
family spirit that our
democracy can survive and flourish. Let's support each other as we work to make it
happen, to help bind each-other's wounds and awaken a new spirit in the mind and
heart of America. There is so much yet to come. We have to remember, we're all part of the
same team. For me, this is what our New America is all about.

We've already
come such a long way!
As you probably
know, we the People'
 in
1776 did not
include Indians,
blacks or women.
 Over time we changed who was included in
'We the People'.
A woman, Hillary Clinton, ran for president and later was chosen Secretary of
State.
After the work,
sacrifice and suffering of so many for so long, America elected a president
with an African father and a white mother - Barack Obama. He faces the
most difficult task of any president of all time - two wars, the devastation
left from our
'economic civil war', terrorism. religious intolerance, nuclear proliferation
and other world issues earlier presidents could never have imagined.
Native Americans Black Elk and
Crazy Horse
 had
a lot to teach in the
 eighteen
hundreds but nobody
was listening.
They were thought of as just
'savages' back then.
Wait till you see what we can learn from these
'Original Americans' today, and
what they might have in common with quantum physics and the idea of multiple dimensions.
You'll also find out how Crazy Horse got his name.
we must
carefully shape an America for our time
with today's knowledge, for today's needs with today's really smart people.
It's up to all of us to help, one at a time. All of us of all parties, races and
religions must be the Founding Parents of a Reborn America that nourishes its
people and businesses, all the other creatures that live here with us, the environment and
our planet so we can leave a healthy country and society for future
generations.
How do we heal
the wounds? Where do we go from here? How do we start?
The main weapon we use to recapture and heal
America is knowledge. Real knowledge. Applied knowledge.
We're going to get the real, clear, unbiased truth about everything and then apply it in our
own lives first, and then around us in our families, jobs, our towns and our country.
Real Americans don't just
listen to what someone says and then believe it.
America is the country of the independent spirit, remember? We're not
sheep. We think for ourselves. That's the whole point here.
Together we're going to help each other become
smarter, and then make our America stronger than ever before.
When we're done
creating and polishing an idea, we'll get
it to our leaders because the whole point for this site is all of us having an
affect on how our government treats us and what our America is going to
become. And more than this, on local and state levels, let's get
involved and become the leaders ourselves. Let's help make it happen!
'We the People'
are not happy
with what our
elected leaders just did to us, the condition they've left us, our country and
our world in today, and we're going to
make sure it never happens again. You and I need to get smarter so we
can do it. We must get together and be the Mamas and Pappys of our New
America.

BTW - Sam Adams was a brew master in Boston back in revolutionary
times. Maybe the guys really were drinking the Original Sam
Adams Beer when they were writing the Constitution? Who
knows? I'd like to think they were. I hope we get to
share some beer along the way as we continue building where they
left off. |
